Faces are generally the part of the body that I enjoy most to draw. So I guess that because of that I also have more experience with them. I wouldn't want to say that all my faces turn out as good as this one though. I do often use references as general guidelines. (also in this picture) They ensure my proportions stay correct when using funny angles. The most important aspects of a face to make it look more real in my experience are A) the eyes. They decide whether someone looks alive or not. the shading which makes a face have depth instead of being flat.Have you got an Elfwood account as well, would love to see some of your work." | |
